Rebecca Caskie

rebecca-caskie-05

We welcome Rebecca as another newcomer to the Society this year and she is very much looking forward to her theatre debut in this year’s show. She fondly remembers being taken as a child to see The Pirates of Penzance and The Gondoliers and rekindled that interest through enjoying recent performances by our Society.

From Yorkshire and growing up in a musical family, Rebecca has sung in church choirs for as long as she can remember and has given many performances and solos with choral societies and other ensembles including the Scottish Chamber Choir. Keeping it in the family, she often sings accompanied by her husband, an organist, when he’s not busy giving recitals himself.
Rebecca spends most of her time bringing up their two boys and getting involved in leading Sunday school and kids clubs, all of which demand a great deal of creativity and energy!
