Congratulations!

Congratulations to our long-standing member Douglas Kerr and his new bride Jenny Matthew, who tied the knot at St James’ Church, Goldenacre, at the morning commnunion service on Sunday 23 October. Members of the Society were there to “see them sign, without a quiver” and to echo the words of the chorus in The Sorcerer: “With heart and with voice, let us welcome this mating”. We trust that Douglas and Jenny will enjoy a long and happy life together in their new Edinburgh home. And we note an apology from one ‘Ghost of a Murgatroyd’ for his absence from rehearsals during their honeymoon!
