Edinburgh Gondoliers

No, not a new way to get across the  Forth, but an invitation from EDGAS to warm up this March by coming to their forthcoming production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s sunniest and brightest light opera, which will be playing at the King’s Theatre, Edinburgh from Tuesday–Saturday 8–12 March at 7.30pm, with a Saturday matinée at 2.30pm.

“A delightful series of twists and turns plays out to an exhilarating ending in this charming production. With a cast of over 50 under the direction of Alan Borthwick, and a full orchestra under the direction of David Lyle, this show promises to be both fun and musically beautiful.”

For children aged 6 to 12 and accompanying adults there will be a special price of £5 in the upper circle for the Saturday matinée with a pre-show talk, activity pack and juice and biscuits thrown in. Please email president@edgas.org for details.

Tickets: from £16 – £23 (concessions available) from the box office (0131 529 6000).
