Our next show

Our next production will be The Pirates of Penzance, running at the Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline from 16–18 February 2023.

For our twice-delayed anniversary show we welcome Robin Ożóg (left) to take charge of our production. As it says in his “Meet the Stars!” entry Robin is a founder member of the Society and taken many principal roles. He also directed three of our shows earlier in the century, since when he has both directed and starred in many Kirkcaldy G&S productions. It’s great to have him back on his home turf in charge of our motley crew of pirates, policemen and ‘Major-General Stanley’s female relations’! Robin will be assisted by Sinead Black.

We’re also delighted that our Musical Director will once again be Eddie MacLennan (right).

Auditions will be held in July (details on our Auditions page), and we will commence music rehearsals as usual in August. We need a full complement of chorus members for this show, and look forward to hearing from any who would like to take part. We would also encourage everyone to go recruiting – see our Becoming a Member page – as we are looking for new blood as well as G&S aficionados .
