“On the lighter side … ” – 1

Ellen invites us all to Kirkcaldy Orchestral Society’s Autumn concert at 7.30pm on Tuesday 7 October in the Old Kirk, Kirkcaldy. The first concert in their 2025–26 season under the general title “On the lighter side … ”, the varied programme includes Celebration Overture and Cotswold Dances by Philip Lane, Kol Nidrei by Max Bruch (with Chloe Randall, ’cello), and film music by Eric Coates (High Flight), Randy Newman (Toy Story), Ennio Morricone (Gabriel’s Oboe from The Mission) and Vaughan Williams (49th Parallel).
