We are delighted that the Dunfermline Gilbert & Sullivan Society has been able to continue the G&S tradition over the last 40 years. Although our productions are of a very high standard, we are an amateur company and need to make every penny count. It costs us over £20,000 to put on our annual production each February. This includes the hire of the Carnegie Hall, scenery, costumes, lighting and make-up, musicians fees, publicity, insurance, etc.
Much of these costs are recouped through ticket sales and members, subscriptions, but we work hard each year to raise the rest of the money through donations and fundraising activities. Please help us if you can.
Would you like to become a Friend of the Society? The minimum individual subscription of £30 (or £55 for a couple) entitles you to advance ticket booking at concession prices, with one free ticket (per Friend) for any of the Society’s shows.
