Sharon Edgar

Sharon Edgar was introduced to G&S as a child by her dad, for many years a member of the Kirkcaldy Society, so grew up knowing many of the songs, and first performed with KGASS in her late teens. Having started in amateur theatre aged 8, and learning several musical instruments and dance forms, she recalls providing keyboard/backing vocals for a live London band!

Regular moves then made theatre work difficult but, after moving back to live locally, Sharon was able to join DGASS for our 2016 The Yeomen of the Guard, and return to KGASS to play Lady Saphir in Patience (2019) and Vittoria in The Gondoliers (2020).

This is Sharon’s first on-stage Pirates, although she sang Edith in our 2019 summer concert. She is delighted to be playing Isabel, and really looking forward to being back at Carnegie after a pandemic break because of work commitments.
