Theodore Rankine-Fourdraine

Theodore Rankine-Foudraine grew up in London but has family from England, Scotland and France. He completed his Master of Engineering degree from Bath University and currently works as a microchip designer. Theo has long had a passion for opera but has always been an avid spectator rather than on stage.

This all changed recently when he got the opportunity to perform with Edinburgh G&S as Marco in The Gondoliers. A very sunny introduction to the world of G&S. Since then, he has definitely caught the performing bug, appearing as Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor with Tayside Opera and Dr Blind in Die Fledermaus with Fife Opera.

It has been an absolute delight to perform with DGASS and bring this new production to the stage. He will perform again with EDGAS in April 2025 as Alexis in The Sorcerer.
