Eileen Hutchings
We are sad to announce the death of Eileen Hutchings, who used to be one of the stalwarts of our ladies chorus. We offer our condolences to her husband Peter, a life member of the Society and a former Treasurer, who was for many years one of our basses. Eileen’s funeral will be on Tuesday 23 December at 1.45pm at Holy Trinity Church, East Port, Dunfermline, then at 2.45pm at Dunfermline Crematorium.
Carols at Tesco
Thanks to those who took part in the carol singing at Tesco Duloch on Friday 19 December, and to the shoppers who gave around £320 for the work of the Whitefield Day Hospital.

Peter has asked me to let the ladies know that this Wednesday they are required at 7.30pm and not at 7.00pm as shown on the schedule.
Butterfly comes to Duloch!
Duloch Leisure Centre Theatre is the venue for Opera Bohemia‘s performance of Madame Butterfly at 7.15pm on Thursday 20 November. Opera Bohemia aims to give opportunities to young professional performers, and they would welcome your support. Their production of Puccini’s masterpiece, set in modern-day Japan, has already received fantastic receptions from packed audiences across Scotland.

Carol Concerts
We are holding a Concert of Carols and Christmas Music at 7.00pm on Sunday 14 December in St Margaret’s RC Memorial Church, East Port, Dunfermline. Carol singing opportunities
This year the Carol Singing at Tesco Duloch will be on Friday 19 December from 5.00pm, and not at our usual Saturday slot. As before, John Allen will be in charge, and asking for names of participants to submit to Tesco Security.
Rehearsals for the Christmas Carol Concert fundraisers have been called for Sunday afternoons at 2.00pm starting on Sunday 2 November in Whitefield. As Peter has called a Gondoliers rehearsal for 9 November, the carol rehearsal that day will finish by 3.00pm.
