EUSOG Gondoliers

Butterfly comes to Duloch!

141120_opera_bohemia_smDuloch Leisure Centre Theatre is the venue for Opera Bohemia‘s performance of Madame Butterfly   at 7.15pm on Thursday 20 November. Opera Bohemia aims to give opportunities to young professional performers, and they would welcome your support. Their production of Puccini’s masterpiece, set in modern-day Japan, has already received fantastic receptions from packed audiences across Scotland.

Kirkcaldy G & S Concert

Robbie’s Recital

Our accompanist Robbie Milner is coming up to his final public recital for his degree at Napier.  It’s on Wednesday 7th May, at 7:30 at St. Mark’s Unitarian Church, 7 Castle Terrace, Edinburgh, and will be about an hour.
 
If anyone from DGASS  is in Edinburgh that night and would like to come to it, Robbie would be very pleased to see you.

The greatest musical ever

At least that’s the claim made for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific. You can judge for yourself at the end of May, when Lochgelly and District Amateur Musical Association are presenting this spectacular show at the Lochgelly Centre Theatre.

Starting on Wednesday 28 May, the show runs until Saturday 31 May (including a matinée). Tickets are £12.00; concessions £10.00. Dave Smith is in the cast, and will get tickets for you: send him a private message with your requests via our DGASS buddies Facebook page.

Next appearance

Your next chance to see the Society on stage at Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline will be on 13–15 February 2025 for the première run of The Jury’s Out.
